Lately, hubb has been helping me to tuck Bryan in for his afternoon nap, when we are not working. At first, Bryan will protest and cry for me. But lately, he had successfully tucked Bryan in without any cries.
In fact, I will be able to hear sounds of laughter from Bryan’s room for at 15 minutes or so, after the bedroom door is closed, before silence falls. Apparently, daddy and baby will play until both is tired and fall asleep together. (*how sweet*)
And in the last 1 week, I have manage to cut out the middle of the night feeding. When Bryan wakes up in the middle of the night, hubb will go and tuck him back to sleep. So far, it has been quite good, the last week.
Tonight, I told hubb that he should try tucking Bryan to bed as well. Hubb stayed in Bryan’s room while I bf Bryan in the dark. After he finished bfg, Bryan was still alert, and he climbed on top of his daddy because he wants to see Tesco from his bedroom window.
Bryan sleeps on a mattress on the floor. So if anyone of us sleeps on his mattress near the window, he’ll climb on us to look out the window.
So while Bryan is busy, “Adjo, Adjo“… I sneaked out of his room. After I left, I first hear some excited chattering (must be of Adjo), then I hear some soft cries (must be Bryan looking for me). Then it was all quiet.
And hubby came out of the room about 20 minutes later…Mission accomplished! Bryan is asleep.
Bravo hubby! Keep up the good work!
Wow! Great job! Now you can both share the task. I hope Evan will be able to sleep thru the night soon.
