Preggie privilege….where?

I was at the Kedai Telekom during lunch to change my house address for my telephone subscription. When I wanted to select the button to press for my number, I noticed that there is a button for “Disabled, old or pregnant women.” I was so happy to see that and I asked the guy if I can press that button for the services that I require.

Mana tau, the guy told me that the service is only available for those making payments. Sheesh…

So I had no choice but to press the regular button – 5 people before my turn…Not too bad la.

Unfortunately, that number is a VERY VERY slow moving line. I think the payment counter covered almost 20 numbers and yet my counter has not moved. The payment counter can complete each customer’s transaction in a matter of a few minutes. But my counter, takes up to 30 minutes for each customer.

In the end, I had to wait more than 1 hour for my turn. See la…stupid or not. If you want to offer express service for the “Disabled, old or pregnant women,” you gotto offer that for the slow moving counters. Not the fast one.

Sigh.. how can we trust these companies to have common sense!

  1. that sucks, isnt it? And then there is the immigration where there isnt any special indication for the young and the old, but they let women with little kids in first even if they are last in queue

and at petrol kiosk there are petrol attendance who would say, :”kak duduk, ai isi kan untuk akak”

    get you thinking doesnt it?
