Just My Tots

Hubb had been away for 2 weeks plus which meant that this is how long my in-laws have not seen my kids. My MIL adores my kids especially Bryan bcoz that kid really know how to make his grandma happy. MIL always remarked on what a cheerful child he is. Of coz he is cheerful at MIL’s house la…he gets everything he wants mah!

Anyway, since yesterday was a replacement holiday for me, I decided to take Bryan to go visit MIL. I did not take Dylan along as he usually naps all morning and I did not want to disturb his sleep. Besides, it will be quite handful for me to manage 2 kids entirely on my own.

At MIL’s house, there was a small chinese teapot and teacup on the table. Bryan’s elder cousin had filled it with drinking water and Bryan wants to play with it. I let him play becoz MIL says it is all right to do so, and I thought it is a good eye-hand coordination activity. Eh, takes practice to know when to stop pouring also u know.

So he spent easily 20mins on the table just pouring water into the teacup and drinking from it over and over again. He really drank a lot of water as I had to refill the teapot once and MIL refilled it twice.

With all the water he drank, you can imagine the number of trips I had to take him to the toilet later on. I was practically taking him to the toilet every 15 mins or so later.

And in the toilet, there was a big mirror just next to the toilet bowl. So while waiting for Bryan to finish his biz, I had the chance to inspect my hair and guess what I found??

A strand of silvery white hair!!!!!! ARRRGGGHHHHHHH my first white hair.

I just had to pull it out immediately. I am so used to picking out grey hair from my father, my mom, my hubb and now…I have joined the club as well.

Boo Hoo….looks like the inevitable has come. The first sign of aging has arrived!
