Yes, my dreary 3 weeks is now officially over. Hubb is finally home!
The kids of course were happy to see him. Even lil Dylan is ecstatic to see his daddy after all these time.
After 3 weeks, I am slowly getting accustomed to the hectic routine of caring for the kids, but nevertheless, the timing could not have been better.
Bryan welcomed hubb home with a nasty throat and ear infection.
On Sunday, Bryan was already a little warm with body temp of about 37.1 C. But i still took him kai-kai by myself – to the aquarium & pet shop in the morning and the playground in the evening. I thought a little exercise will help him.
On Monday, morning, he was all fine, then his temp started to increase in the evening when hubb got home. Tuesday was when it got very bad. Luckily hubb had taken him to the PD in the morning and so we were already armed with all the necessary medications.
PD advised hubb to keep the 2 boys separated. Easier said than done. Each time Bryan sees Dylan, he MUST hug and kiss him. If we don’t let him, he’ll throw a tantrum. That’s how much he loves his little bro.
As of Wed night, Dylan is still fine and healthy. I am keeping my fingers crossed that his immune system will continue to be strong. HL told me that babies under 6 mths usually have good immune system + he is still a fully bf baby. These combined hopefully will keep him strong.
Anyway, I could not be more relieved to have hubb back. Bryan as expected is extremely moody and clingy given his existing situation. I really don’t know how I would have managed if he is not back right now.
And hubb brought a suitcase full of goodies for the kids. Yes, it is really a full suitcase as he bought a new one during his business trip. Lots of new clothes, toys and especially for Bryan, sugar-free gummi bear candies, supposedly flavored with real fruit juices wor. And oh ya, a brand new booster car seat as well, as Bryan is getting a little big for his current car seat.
Anything for me? Of course got la.
But it doesn’t matter what he got for me! I’m so glad that he’s finally home. Welcome back honey!
