Alternative jobs

My fren send me a job posting in her company last week, asking me to apply for it. But I did not. I mean, it is a good career opportunity, but it would also mean leaving my comfort zone. *Lazy*
Honestly, it has been a long time since I updated my resume. Even my last few job applications were all internal job applications, and most of the hiring managers already know me or have worked with me. So the job application was not very challenging. They already knew before hand if I was suitable for that new role.
A few years ago, when my company was undergoing restructuring, my friends and I brainstormed over what we will do IF we lose our jobs. If we get a severance package, we thought perhaps we’ll go into some online business. Eveything can be sold online, from baby goods to wedding lingerie. But since none of us were impacted, we are still stuck in the same company, though a few of us have moved on to different jobs. So for the time being, I think I will stay where I am :) . Sometimes no change is really not a bad thing.

About Shooi

Started blogging to capture thoughts and memories for my baby boy. Fell in love with blogging and now would like to blog more than just on my baby but also on my experiences as a full time working mother and wife.
